Rachna Singh

Deeply saddened by the news of Rachna's passing away. I think the finality of her demise hit me when I attended the burial service. Rachna was my student many years but she always kept in touch. I was impressed by her ready wit and terrific sense of humor. She reached out to me when she was first diagnosed with cancer and I followed her struggles till she overcame the dreaded C. In between came the delightful books which she presented me whenever we met either in Allahabad or in Bangalore. And her posts on FB were absolutely delicious with her trademark whacky sense of humor. A wonderful, caring person so talented and bright. Rachna, you will be greatly missed but the Gods above also need their daily dose of laughter. Will love and cherish your memories. Farewell my dear child

Sumi n I hv shared so much and loved each other... though we didn't meet often , there was a soul connection, we were so different and yet great friends... I just miss messaging her and sharing music with her, singing for her, we had a copy where we used to write poems...hers were always better than mine....

Rachna was looking so very serenely beautiful in the yellow saree n I wanted to capture her pic on my mobile but then dint have the heart to pick up the mobile .do share that pretty pic of her if possible. Lots of love to you all beta..prayers to The Lmighty to grant you all the strength to bear this deep emotional loss. Dear Saumya, I am extremely sorry to hear about the sad demise of our dear Rachna at such a young age. My deepest sympathies to her dear family. May her soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to all the family members. I was deeply grieved and shocked on the sudden demise of Rachna. It seems she loved her parents very much, that is why, she went to meet her parents in heaven so early..

You lived a beautiful life and spread much happiness. Heaven must have needed some happy moments too. Rest in peace!
