It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our founding member, Professor Eberhard Weise on January 18th. His legacy is the profound impact he left on countless lives, and we will cherish his memory. Professor Weise embodied integrity, his every action a testament to unwavering principles and ethical conduct. He was revered for his boundless generosity and charitable spirit, extending a helping hand to all in need without seeking recognition or praise. Modest to the core, he shunned the spotlight, preferring instead to shine it on others, uplifting and empowering those around him. As a mentor to so many, he instilled values of compassion, empathy, and respect in all of us. His wisdom and guidance will be greatly missed, and we will be forever grateful to him. Beyond the Jörg Weise Association, Professor Weise was a pillar of support within his community, advocating for righteousness with unwavering dedication. The imprint of his love and wisdom remains etched in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. Rest in peace, Papi Weise. Your spirit lives on in the Jörg Weise Association.

Dear familly Weise, Marren, Lutz and all the (not so) 'little' ones. It is of course very sad that Prof Weise has left us. I will always remember him for his kindness, his wisdom, his open heart with everyone he would meet, and his dedication to the Association, as a means of maintaining, promoting and and spreading the spirit of Jorg. We are now living in challenging times, and I think the values and beliefs that Prof Weise and the association stood for are more relevant than ever. I also found him in all our meetings over the years very personable, sharp, and with a good sense of humour :). RIP Professor.
