My mind keeps me under illusion that I will see you somewhere to have our heart to heart talk. I couldn't make it to the burial but I watched it via zoom. My illusion that makes me feel like you are not the one I took to the matuary has been cleared. That "Good Friday" wasn't the usual one Even though the scriptures says ...there was darkness all over the earth as Christ gave his life...it is called Good Friday and so it is, even as God called His missionary home that Good Friday. I got this memoer long before today but was difficult for me to put down something. The reality is now down on me yet I still struggle with what to put down. The morning after that Good Friday, I gathered courage to tell my father about your transition. I met him arranging his bag for the mission you planed at Asaba. My father was motionless until I collected the bag on his lap and put it down. I think, your departure made him go back to village. On telling your Awesome Boy, he said, in a shaky and most gentle voice, who will take care of me? I didn't know what to say but something whisper in my ear and I voice it out, God will take care of you. Awesome has not been himself. He kept planing how I will come and we will attend your burial. You are a true missionary whose life testifies as you move. O! Diaspora mission field!!! God you need to intervene. Evang Chime, left on Good Friday, we plead, oh God, for the double portion of the mantle as it happened between Elijah and Elisha be released on who takes over. I watched when your remains was deposited. Favour walked to the grave side but could stand on her feet so did I in my room. You are a special package from God to this generation. I watched you everywhere sometimes with little understanding of the urgency with which you spread gospel. On the sick bed, where you breath last, you were planning evangelism. What a missionary! Adieu Daddy Chima.

Your love for the Lord was pure and true, A commitment that shone through all you did and said, anew. Good night my brother As I reflect on your departure, I'm reminded to examine my own heart's cling. How deeply have I committed to my King? A Beloved Brother, passionate to make Christ known to the nations. 3 days before He went to be with the Lord, He asked and I sent him some materials he needed to teach evangelism in a Church. He finished his calling well. I pray the Lord's comfort for his family and Team.

Bro. Chima, writing this about him would be inconceivable just a couple of months ago. Our paths first crossed as an active member of the chapter in Kaduna. The vibrancy which he applied to his mission engagement was quite contagious and long before GSM became common, we didn't lose contact. Lo and behold, he showed up for training. He poured his all into fulfilling the calling he received from His Lord, not counting his own life as anything to be grabbed. Sleep on beloved. Grace and strength to Sis. Lara and the children, his relations the diaspora team and the CAPRO family.

We thank God for your life and all God used you to do. Rest in peace

Bro. Chima you left too soon, but God knows best. You will be sorely missed - your cheerfulness, kindness and friendliness . Your passion for souls and mission. You were an encouragement to me when we were all together at the International Office. A dedicated worker and a man of great faith. A loving husband and father. Rest on till we meet at the Lord's feet. May the Lord comfort Sis. Lara and the girls.

Tribute to my 'Apostle to Uyo' That was what I often called him - because that was just it. He and his wife entered Uyo' in 2015. Uyo moved from 'Uyo Chapter ' to full 'CAPRO Uyo'. The Pastors / churches n Akwa Ibom felt his impacting presence. He laboured assiduously here for 10years! He was selfless and very caring . He was a servant leader. He was guardian and father to my children when I was far away in Liberia. I returned to join him to further sensitize the church for missions. But the Lord called him home just a week after we returned to Uyo. His sudden death pained us greatly. But we take solace in the comfort and consolation of the Lord, and the fact that we shall see his smiles again.
