Taken far too early and will forever be remembered with great affection as a true gentleman. Miss you lots

Peter was a really good guy, a gentle gentleman, and will sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Very talented and well respected in his profession whilst making time for others to aid their development. His love of sport and music was clearly evident too - giving his all to anything that he did - inspiring others to do the same. Sadly gone but not forgotten.

Peter you were always so generous with your time and your knowledge and made tax understandable to even me as a non tax person. I will also miss our chats about family life -driving lessons and university application forms in particular. You were such a genuinely decent and kind man and are sadly missed. My thoughts go out to your family and friends.

I will remember Peter as one of life's true gentlemen - widely respected and admired around the firm. It was a real privilege to have known and worked with him and he will be sorely missed. Thoughts are with Peter's family and close friends at this time.

I always found Peter to be a very kind and helpful man. A true gentleman. Nothing was ever too much trouble to him and he had a great deal of patience. He will be truly missed by everyone. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him at this very sad time. He will always be remembered as a truly lovely man.

Peter was a truly warm and genuinely kind gentleman. I loved speaking to him as he was so professional and we also could have a laugh and joke too. I am dumbstruck at his passing and heartbroken for his family and close friends, my thoughts are with you all.

Peter, we are all really missing you. Your humble approach to work and life was one to aspire to. I enjoyed chatting to you about the cricket, the football and the rugby. As fellow Englishmen we were on the same side although heavily outnumbered in the office! However, our club teams are set to clash once again next week– I guess part of me will be rooting for the mighty Pompey after all. We often debated what to do with our fantasy teams for the upcoming game weeks, you actually managed to score the most points in the JC league table last weekend! Kind and genuine, you were both an excellent boss but more importantly just an overall great person. You are and always will be dearly missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. Rest easy. Haydn

Peter had the ability to make you feel at ease through his truly sincere nature. I am really grateful for his support and would echo what other have said - he was indeed a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.
