Son of Jill & John Basten, brother of Lee & Sharon Paul is being missed so much, our hearts are broken with his unexpected passing. We would love to hear from everyone who knew Paul, see photos and hear about all the great memories everyone to celebrate his life.

So sad to hear about Paul.Dave Johnson told me on Sunday.We went away on a mad holiday 40 years ago and it was the best time ever.Paul was a great laugh and a real p*ss taker. The 3 of us would laugh until we cried. Saw Paul a few times when I lived in Winnersh and visited with his dog.(12 years ago)It was great to catch up over a few beers and unfortunately lost touch again.It was a great honour to be your mate Paul. You were one of the good ones. Will miss you. Mark

Bumped into lee and Sharon at the weekend & was so saddened to here paul had passed. We were skinheads back in the day & stayed great friends after the skinhead days .we went on holiday to Great Yarmouth me Paul & mark hart what a week so funny . Paul was a great man with a big heart & loved to laugh. When we leave this place we only have moments in time & those moments with Paul will live with me until it’s my time . Rest in piece my friend love & respect dave .

Dear Family, I’m so so sorry for your loss, we all played together in Hazelwood close and knew each other since we were 5 years old I think, biggest regret we never stayed in touch because I’m drumming mad, loved the same music and went to the TT for a number of years, maybe even the same year as you, but I did bump into you every fifteen years or so and you actually grew into such a lovely chap, I know you will be dearly missed by your lovely family and friends and pretty much every one who knew you Rest in peace my oldest friend Till we meet again xxx Mark Coldwell
