Words will fail me to express the depth of my feelings...My heart still aches knowing I didn’t come to see you before you died, but thinking through all that you had to pass through... Trust you are resting from all your pain and to come back shortly in the very near future with perfect health. You have touched many lives including mine, though raised from a hospitable home I have come to learn first hand from you what it means to show hospitality even to strangers. You wholeheartedly took me in, gave me shelter, guilded me and even gave me a name, Edo girl with an Igbo name. I remember your warmth, your care, admonition, generosity, your kindness and love so endearing, i truly cherish your selflessness, looking out for others even when it is not convenient. We had amazing moments filled with great memories which I hold dear.. You will be missed but fondly remembered.. Your daughter, Nwanchinemere misses you so dearly. I miss making your hair, I miss our many gist, heartfelt conversations, your warm hugs, oh! our large cups of tea every morning and most especially your endless prayers. She made sure no child went to bed hungry, no problem went unprayed for, and no visitor left without feeling welcome. I came in as a daughter-in-law, but she made me a daughter. Her advice still echoes in my head: ‘Be patient, pray first, and love your husband.’ Though we mourn her absence, we celebrate her legacy. Mummy you were kind, gentle , soft spoken and prayerful .Thank you for whole- hartedly welcoming me into the Duruji family. You were a devoted mother and grandmother to your children and granchildren. Everytime we spoke on the phone you always start the conversation with prayers and " God bless you". Thank you for your motherly advice and encouragement with the challenges of motherhood, you would always say " be patient with the children and correct them in love" .The news of your passing is so painful but we are consoled because we know you are resting with the Angels and Saints in Heaven. Continue to rest mummy until we meet again on the ressurrection morning.

My heart is heavy with the passing of my beloved grandmother. She was a constant source of encouragement in my life, always lifting me up with her words, her prayers, and her quiet strength. She taught me the value of resilience and hard work, showing me through her own life that perseverance always bears fruit. Grandma also reminded me not to be consumed by worry, but to trust in God completely, even when life feels uncertain. Her faith was steady and inspiring, and it shaped the way I see life today. Mama Manchester, as she was fondly called by her children, you were of noble reputations, always willing to offer help to those that needed it. You have gone but your memories will always remain with us. All you cherish in life for us will also become a testimonies for us throughout our stay on earth. Mama Manchester, you were my confident, my adviser and my prayer warrior. Whom will I relate my problems to, who will ask me where am going and who else will call me NGOZICHUKWU. A mother that knows where it pains her children and love them equally. A mother of emulation, a virtuous woman indeed and a mother to many people. You were strong from the begining to the end and even at the point of death, you still struggled to live for your children. You have finished your good work on earth.
