Mike Elwell

Mike core kindness and support could be seen in all his work and relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Cracking sense of humour but when the job needed focus he was right on the case. Really enjoyed working with Mike. He's left some very long lasting memories. To his family and close friends my sincere condolences.

I first met Mike when he interviewed me prior to joining Imtech/Dynniq in August 2015, and I worked quite closely with him ever since throughout various company changes. Mike always portrayed a very professional, dedicated, passionate, and driven character; an inspirational and well-respected representative for the company. Above all, and despite being consistently busy, he was a good listener; he would understand and support any concerns, yet focus on encouraging positivity and development (both from a personal and career perspective) - Mike is certainly a key reason for me progressing to where I am today, and for that I owe him great thanks. I will never forget Mike, nor his infectious smile, nor his commonly-used remarks (such as "top man!"). My thoughts and sympathies go out to Mike's family and friends.

Words are always hard to find but my deepest sympathies go to Mike's family at this difficult time. Mike was completely dedicated to his job and was a fantastic colleague, his enthusiasm and energy were completely infectious and he always had a huge smile on his face. He was one of the most positive people I have had the pleasure of knowing .We miss you Mike.

Where do you start ! where do you end ! Mike was a true inspiration to me his energy was contagious his work ethics were inspiring. Mike interviewed me back in June 2014 and from that day on he was the best boss I ever had in my working life who was an amazing mentor with the patience of a saint, any success I have had or have with Dynniq is with many thanks to Mike forever, Mike made me over come fears and achieve my dreams and enable me to live and work to a can do attitude. Mike was a dream chaser and made them reality in his working life and family life. Mike being a very private man kept his working life very separate from his family life but what was very obvious right from the start was that his Family was his world - his Wife his boys were his everything and his meaning of life, he was so very proud of his boys and spoke very highly of them with a smile on his face he beamed with pride. Kathryn most definitely was the love of his life and his one and only true love - He was in Leicester for Valentine’s day this year and he asked how many cards I had etc and I said how many have you had he said the only one I want from my wife. I want to thank Mike's family for a truly amazing service they led for Mike he would have been so proud of you all for the strength you pulled together as a family for him. it was a great pleasure to be with you all for his celebration of life and to meet the people he absolutely adored. To all Mikes Family, Thank you for the opportunity to come along to Mikes Funeral. It was such an emotional service and really helped me to get things in order. You may not know but I worked with Mike a lot over the last 5 or six years, It all started when he became my teams sponsor on an internal course I attended with Imtech and continued in various capacities right up until I heard the sad news of Mikes accident. At this point Mike was to be my boss in his new role. He had always helped me and encouraged me even through some tough times when he called me up to say he was there if I needed him. Your speeches at the funeral all touched me and I do believe that Mike was right, Family, Adventure, work. I don't quite know how to finish this post other than to say to Mikes wonderful family, Take care - Mike will be so proud of you all. Liam
