I learnt of your departure some hours ago. As sad as this feels, I am comforted by the rich legacy of love and kindness you bequeathed us. Fare thee well, bro, Dr. Kunde.

I am better for knowing you and better for having met you. You were a blessing to my life. Thank you so much. Rest on my dear friend.

Dear God Almighty, all knowing, and the author and finisher of our faith keep the soul of your son and our brother Matthew Terkura Kunde safe in your bossom, and give him your promised glorified body that never dies. Amen. Words cannot fully express who he was to so many including me, but the consolation to all is that, a death like his reaffirms that there is a better place than here, and that's why you permitted his going back home, a true home indeed, at this time. May you please O Lord comfort his wife and love ones, and grant him eternal life. Amen. Rest with the Lord my brother and friend.

Dr. Kuns, it became pertinent for me to write this condolence message. I've not been able to reconcile the unreality of your exiting this physical plane. For me, choosing the path of, "... thy brother shall rise again...", and leaving the body to see corruption, wasn't necessarily the best. I would have preferred, "... will never die...". Nonetheless, I know and fully persuaded, that the purpose of earth experience is atonement, and until that is accomplished, you will be drawn back to this plane. I've known you for 14 years, and as far as my stay in the city of Kaduna was concerned, I have no other friend yet that can replace you. You remained faithful to the Ministry, and always willing at all times to serve God's interest with fear and trembling. What more can I say? You already know before you left, I will never agree to such departure, and the reason I will not reconcile it. You have always been and you will forever be. See you!

I am yet to come to terms with this devastating news, Dr Kunde always had the gift of creating peaceful and joyful atmosphere whenever we are together, with a very good sense of humour. I remember he would always genuinely ask after everyone in the family. So caring and very free spirited. I will miss you Sir. I remember us talking alot by life's challenges and you willl always say Joy no worry God na'im goo help us. Rest on Sir. May God give your beautiful wife and family the grace and strength to bear this irreplaceable lost. May the holyspirit who is the great comforter, console us all.
