There are not enough words to describe the impact that Maroun Haddad had on all the lives he touched. Many of you described him as an amazing friend, loving brother, inviting neighbour, and dependable Amo Maroun who always filled the room with laughter. He was everyone's best friend. To his son, Omar and daughters, Yara, Youmna and Jamena, he was the most incredible father. He led by example and taught us the true meaning of love, kindness, and strength. He taught us to always find the positive even when faced with life's toughest challenges. He was the best Baba we could have ever asked for. To his amazing wife, Jeannette, he was an incredibly devoted husband who always put his family first. Her soulmate, her rock, her real life superman. You stopped at nothing to give us the best life. We will miss you, your laugh, your smile, your sarcasm, your jokes and most of all your loving soul. We are so lucky to have had you in our lives and are blessed to now have you as our angel watching over us. We are honoured to have had you as a loving husband, father and friend. Thank you for always being you. We all know how much Maroun loved to tell stories and share memories. Lets all honour him by using this book to do the same. I can't put into words the kind of human being he was. I have never ever seen such generosity, welcome, love, acceptance, non judgement, kindness, until I met Yara's dad. I will never ever ever, forget the kind of person he was and Yara is a direct reflection of him. I can see where her heart comes from, and its from Mister Haddad!!! He has a quiet and very chill vibe!!! It's almost as though he could be standing in the midst of a hurricane and still not be fazed by it. He was very serene of a human being. I'm ever so grateful for meeting kind, generous, great spirited people and Mister Haddad was one of them. Excepted me into his home as a stranger with open arms and made sure I ate when I got there says a lot about a family man. Dancing and celebrating with you during your daughters wedding is a memory I'll always cherish. You and your wonderful wife created a beautiful family and your children are amazing people with big hearts and I am so blessed to have met such a wonderful family.
