Marion Kamau

Mrs Kamau was my Aunt, my headmistress at Westlands Primary and my Girl Guides troop leader. She taught me so much. She taught me how to play the recorder; organised trips to National Parks where I got to learn how to enjoy nature. As a Guide, she taught me to Always - BE PREPARED. May she Rest in Peace.

Mrs Kamau once found us copying notes from another pupil and told us that if you copy instead of asking her as she was dictating, you might copy a mistake—a very dangerous thing to do. I am glad she was a strict as she was. I am certain she was the one who made me a prefect.

Rest in Peace Ms. Kamau. I knew you as a strong voice and fearless environmentalist. Your guidance will be much missed.

They say that a good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. That was Mrs Marion Kamau's persona; strict but ever so selfless! The memories of your kindness, guidance, and wisdom will be cherished by us forever. You may not be with us in body, but your legacy as our teacher at Westlands Primary School lives on. We will forever be indebted to you for all the lives you've touched both directly, and indirectly. You moulded who my brothers and I are today. Your impact will not be forgotten. RIP, our dear teacher. Heaven needs you!

Most sincere condolences. She was our Deputy Headmistress at Westlands . Strict but fair. We learnt responsibility and actions have consequences from her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Dear Mum Marion I really loved you and enjoyed you hosting us at your place with Pauline. I was completely at home and enjoyed your fun stories. I also enjoyed seeing you welcoming your grand children that you loved so much. You were a great role model. We will miss you. We love you and pray rest in Jesus arms. We learnt a lot from you and will not forget the discipline and care.
