Lucrecia Davis

She was the cousin everyone wanted to be with. She was the cousin all our parents were proud of. She was the cousin we all went to the airport to greet and to whom we would say "see you soon." We knew that when she was there we would have a good time. For some, she was just Cousin Lucrecia. For others, she was more than that. She was like a sister. The cousin we called for advice, whether personal or immigration-related. Most of our cousins ​​are in Honduras. As cousins, we were proud of her because she never forsook her roots. She had a love for Honduras and also a love and passion for soccer. Most of us cousins ​​were proud of the love she had for the family team, Olimpia. Most of us said, because if you don't support Olimpia, you're not part of the family. Thank God, our last name is Leon, and the Olimpia mascot is a lion, so she's just crazy. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to have Lucrecia as part of our family, and we thank you all for loving her as if she were part of your family. On behalf of all her cousins, Lucrecia, we love you, and you will always be in our hearts, our beloved cousin.

Our Daughter-Lucrecia, Lucrecia had a sweet loving spirit that touched anyone she met. She was more than a daughter-in-law to us. She was our daughter. She always called us Dad and Mom. Lucrecia was always reaching out with helping hands to help whoever needed her. The world is a better place because Lucrecia was in it. The Davis family is a better place because Lucrecia was in it and our immediate family is better because of her. Lucrecia was a beacon of life and hope for the downtrodden. If you didn’t have any money she would put money in your pocket. If you didn’t have food, Lucrecia would feed you. She actually took in the homeless. And if you were an immigrant, afraid to show your face because of your status, even if you didn’t have any money, she would put on her immigration jacket and help you. Lucrecia touched more lives than most of us can ever imagine. As we got to know her mother, Rosa, we began to understand where she got her sweet spirit and helping heart from. Rosa also touched lives, not only in Springfield, Massachusetts, but also in Honduras, her home country. But please don’t miss this. Mama Rosa passed this loving legacy on to her daughter Lucrecia. Paul Davis, Jr. lost a loving wife and Christian and Sophia lost a loving mother, and we lost a loving daughter. We will miss her and love her for the rest of our lives. Rest in Peace Lucrecia. A Tribute to Luki, my sister Our family was blessed with another sister, making us a trio of sisters all having December birthdays. From the moment Luki became part of our lives, she brought love, warmth, and an unshakable spirit. She lived her life with courage and grace, always standing firm in love and supporting others. Luki was a real BOSS. – The B is for Bold and Beautiful inside and out, O for Optimistic, S for Strong, and S for Supportive. Luki’s heart was as big as Texas because she was always helping someone. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, always inviting us into her home and encouraging us to make ourselves comfortable. She was more than just a supportive sister, Luki was always present and active. If our children had an event, she showed up, ready to cheer them on, and lend a helping hand. Luki’s love for her own children, Christian and Sophia, was undeniable. They were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into guiding and nurturing them. She loved our brother and supported him in his endeavors. Luki’s presence in Paul’s life was a gift from God, just as she was to all of us. Although her time here was far too short, the impact she made will last forever. We will miss Luki dearly, but we will always carry her love, strength, and kindness in our hearts.
