Lindani Mwase

I have been thinking about Lindani for several months, not having received a response to an email sent back in 2019. Today, I decided to look her up on the internet and am absolutely shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. My husband and I did not know her well, but we shared some pleasant conversations about Zambia and Malawi, as well as her work in Ottawa. I'm extremely heart broken to read of Lin's passing. My deepest condolences to family and friends. My thoughts and prayers to you. Lindani was an amazing person who touched the heart of everyone she met. Rest in peace, gone but never forgotten.

Our heartfelt condolences. We knew her as a child when she and her family lived in Montréal. So very sorry for this terrible loss. May she rest in peace.

I am very sad to hear about Lindani's passing. Lindani and I were colleagues many years ago and we became good friends and visited each other in Montreal and when she was living in Ottawa. Eventhough our paths took different directions, she will and always have a special place in my heart. I'll always remember her as a beautiful, strong, kind and generous person. My deepest condolences to Lindani's family and friends.

Thank you all for all these amazing messages. The Lindani we knew is the same person you experienced. Friendly, courageous, willing to jump in and assist, strong collaborator and all around a really nice person. The family indeed is quite lost without her. Healing is going to take some time. Thank you all for making her time at work be a great one, she really enjoyed the people and challenge of her job.

I am very sad to read this very sad news. My sincere condolences go out to Lindani's family, loved ones and friends. Although I only had the privilege to work with Lindani for little over a year, it was fun to work with her. Really very thorough in her assessments and being good company while travelling. Always there to help identify a way to help out and move on. Thank you Lindani.
