Linda was a beloved wife of 58 years to Robert Terrell Hughes; precious mom to Amanda Schoolfield, Dusty Hughes and his wife Sara; and adored Mimi to Ty, Zach, and Holly Schoolfield, and Ellie and Charlie Hughes. She was preceded in death by her son Adam Hughes and a host of other family that we know she is having a wonderful reunion with right now. She is with her Savior and is whole and pain-free now. Linda and I shared so much. We shared songs, we shared scripture, we shared our heartbreak. She was my voice of reason. I know she was getting weary. She longed to be with Jesus. Linda was a true friend. Thank you my dear friend.

Amanda, Dust and Terrell and Sara and the grandiose, I can’t express how sorry I am, and how much my heart breaks for all of you my heart breaks with and for you, Linda was my first cousin and my first best friend. Amanda Dusty and Terrel my prayers are forever with you. Y’all lost a precious soul she’s not hurting anymore. She’s got a brand new body and she’s with Adam and our Lord and Savior Jesus. I love all of you all and it’s still hard to believe . our pain here will go away When we meet her up in heaven , God bless and be with each of you!!
