Dear Mama Carolyne Janet Achieng, Brian, Evans, Collins, Bob, George, Ruth, Idah, and the Entire Family of the Late Mr. Kennedy Akoko, It is with heavy hearts that we express our deepest condolences to you upon the loss of your beloved husband, father, and patriarch, Mr. Kennedy Akoko. Mr. Kennedy Akoko was not only a man of great honor and integrity within his professional capacity at the National Treasury, Pensions Department, but also a loving husband, a devoted father, and a pillar of strength for his entire family. As we come to terms with his passing, let us find comfort in the words of Scripture: _"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."_ (Psalm 34:18) In these moments of deep grief, remember that God is near, wrapping His arms around you and granting you strength and peace. Mr. Akoko’s life was marked by love, devotion, and unwavering care for his family. He was a man who loved deeply, giving his heart to both his beloved wife Carolyne Janet Achieng and his late wife, Ruth Atieno Okello. His love for his children—Brian, Evans, Collins, Bob, George, Ruth, and Idah—was steadfast, and his greatest legacy lives on through them. _"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him."_ (Psalm 127:3) His legacy is reflected in the lives of his children, who he nurtured with love, wisdom, and a guiding hand. In these difficult times, as you grieve, may you hold on to the comforting words from Revelation 21:4: _"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."_ Though we mourn his loss here on earth, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life, where there will be no more suffering, and where Mr. Akoko now rests in the presence of our Heavenly Father. It is also important to remember that Mr. Akoko’s life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and service. He not only made a meaningful impact on his family but also touched the lives of his colleagues, friends, and community. His light shone brightly in all that he did, and though that light has dimmed on earth, it will continue to shine through the love, memories, and values he imparted. _"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."_ (Matthew 5:4) May the peace of the Lord be with you, comforting your hearts and guiding you through these sorrowful days. As we remember Mr. Akoko’s life, may his memory always inspire us to love deeply, work diligently, and live with compassion and integrity. His absence leaves a deep void, but his spirit and the love he shared with his family and friends will forever remain. The loss of Mr Okoko has shocked all of us who knew him. And he looked forward to his retirement and never forgot to mention it every time we spoke. The last time we met at the height of Maandamona he jocularly said” Madam you have refused to congratulate me on my promotion. and you know we are of the same faith “. Sad that we never got to celebrate that promotion. To the family, may you all be comforted and encouraged in the Lord during this very sad time. You are in our prayers as we await the grand reunion on that great resurrection morning. Shalom
