My condolences go out to the family. I am so sorry too hear of the lost of a dear loved one to this family. Dealing with this situation can be the hardest thing to face. God's word the bible gives heartfelt and true meaning for ones sleeping in death; Revelation 21: 3,4 says: 3  With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” God also promises a hope for ones to have life again at John 5: 28,29a : Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29  and come out. I was Kate's 'week time' lodger in Bristol, and as was Kate's way we quickly became friends. Kate was full of life and on those long weeks away from home she made me smile plenty, taking me to Zumba, swimming and getting me involved in all her evening duties...such as cutting out and laminating for school! Kate was generous to all who crossed her path and had a smile for everyone, we shared many stories over a good cup of tea (something we both loved) and as I always said to Kate she made my time away from home so much more bearable, I shall always be grateful for that. x I will always regret that we didn't stay in touch more. My heartfelt thoughts go out to Kate's family and friends, particularly her dear parents who Kate adored so much. Thank you for the introduction to homemade welsh cakes and all the weekday laughs, Rest in peace xx

I worked with Kate for many years in Bristol.We had lots of banter whilst working in a busy but rewarding school.Kate always wanted the best from her pupils.She worked hard to move the pupils learning forward and was committed to her job. I have lots of memories of Kate both inside and outside of work.A weekend away with friends, bbqs at her house,the balloon fiesta, weddings, Zumba and much more. Kate spoke so fondly of her parents-she was as proud of them as they are of her. Kate often joked about a certain advent calendar tradition of her mums which makes me smile! Kate has shown such courage and strength-she has taught me so much. Thanks Kate...we won't forget you and will remember some lovely times xx

Kate was a fantastic friend to Laura and Claire and I'm glad to have met her through them. A beautiful person inside and out, kind and thoughtful, always thinking of others. My lasting memory of her will be our time in Center Parcs this summer, where she made sure everyone had fun. You will be missed greatly by everyone who has had the privilege to know you, especially the girls. My thoughts are with your family at this hard time. Rest in peace Kate x

A lovely young lady who loved life and did a lot to fulfilling all she wanted to do, taken much to soon as Kate had much more to give and do, my heart felt sympathies go out to gill and cliff and all of her family she will be solely missed by everyone who knew her x

I am so saddened by this news. When Kate first started teaching in Bristol she stayed with me. She was hard working, determined and full of ideals. She was also the perfect person to hand over Milly's job to at interplay once my first child came along. I knew I was leaving it in safe hands. Kate had a big infectious smile. My thoughts are with her parents and I hope they find strength in the love many others shared for their beautiful, talented, caring daughter x

I am so saddened to hear this news and can't quite digest that you have been taken at such a young age. Although I haven't seen you since school I always remembered you fondly, always smiling, friendly and always looked out for others and helped when you could, I can see you continued to be the girl I remember and lived life to the max. I only knew Katherine when she was a teenager in Olchfa : I taught her Welsh and was her Deputy Head if Year. I always knew her to be a kind and gentle person, and a good friend to everyone. I am very saddened to hear of the loss of such a genuinely lovely person, and send my most sincere condolences to Katherine's family and loved ones. With love xx
