I am sorry for your loss Nancy. Jim was a great man and a great coach for many kids and adults.

Thank you so much for everything you taught Jackson. We are very sad to hear about Jim’s passing. Not only a great teacher but an honest man with integrity. Jim + fam - When I speak about my formative years, from where and whom I learned respect, discipline, ownership and hustle, I think about Jim and Judo with my full heart. I attribute everything I am and will be to you and my family. When i learned of your passing I immediately cried. I cried for me, your students, your family, the future students that will not call you sensai and the loss to the entire world of an incredible human being. I will do my best to honor you, carry your torch forward and love the lessons learned from you. Rest peacefully, sir. You have earned it. We are grateful for you and will miss you. Much love, Ellie

I am so very saddened by this loss. Jim had an incredible influence in my life and was instrumental in me overcoming some big obstacles. The void that he leaves can be filled a million times over by his brand of love that he shared with countless judokas who walked into his dojo. You can never be forgotten sensei. -Chris
