Janice Lloyd

Janice was my youth leader for a couple of years in the YF along with her husband, and she was such a kind and genuine person. She gave everything 100% and made coming there on a Friday evening such a laugh. Im so shocked to hear she has passed on, and I wish all of her family my thoughts and best wishes at this terrible time. I'll remember Janice with a smile... Exactly how she should be remembered.

I worked with Janice for just under 2 years in CMP and I can say it was a pleasure. Janice was a lovely lady. Thinking of her family at this time.

I only had the pleasure of working with Janice for a very brief period in the CMP Team but shared many a warm conversation or meals out in her company. We had an ongoing personal joke that I once commented that the only guarantee in our team was that things literally changed by the day. When these inevitable changes were sprung on us, Janice would laugh and say there you go Naomi, you were right again. Sadly, this rings true to me more so now than ever, as things have so unfortunately changed for Janice, her husband and her children. Janice had a wonderful personality and I can barely remember a time that she didn’t have a smile on her face. The world is certainly a darker place for losing the light that she brought. My deepest sympathies go her devoted family and my thoughts are very much with you all.

I was also on the ECM team mentioned in Gillian’s post, I met Janice in the middle of the night in a station in Paris. I saw the label on her bag and quickly realised we were heading to the same place. Only a few weeks ago as I was having a lockdown clear out I came across the photos of this time and I fondly remembered Janice. How shocked I am therefore to hear this news. She obviously just kept blossoming into a beautiful woman and all these posts speak volumes of the person she was.. a faithful servant of Christ. May God comfort you all in the knowledge that she is safe and happy .

I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Janice in recent years ,even though for a relatively short period of time, through church homegroup and missional community group. I will remember her for her genuine and loving care for others, her gentleness and her beautiful smile. She will be missed so much. Her life was clearly a beautiful example of someone who trusted Jesus and followed Him. Love and prayers for the whole family xo

JOY, is what Janice was, from the school playground to bumping into her in Tescos, she always radiated JOY, her smile always would lift your heart and she always had time to talk to you, her living legacy will always be here in the form of her 3 beautiful daughters, Caroline, Naomi and Claire and although she may be gone from this world, she lives on in her girls and she certainly will be remembered with great affection xx Peace is hers, memories are yours xx

Having been friends with Naomi for years as we did many shows together, Janice was always there to support and encourage and always had a smile on her face. I always remember thinking what a faith-filled, selfless and kind person Janice was - someone who cared deeply for others. It was a real blessing having the opportunity to know her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time xx
