It was a lovely service lots of lovely memories of Jan and she would be so proud of you Sam for how strong you were reading that lovely poem. I was I could have been there to give you a big hug Sam. She will never truly be gone she will live on in our hearts and will be watching over you, Ollie and Martin making sure your safe and watching all the adventures you have together and watching Ollie grow. I have so many great memories of Jan that I will cherish. One of the many the many is when one of our friends came round for Sam and Jan told him she was away to timbuktu in a cardboard box and he asked what time she would be back. Thank you so much Jan for all you have done for me in the past and all the wonderful things you have done since and just being a true diamond always putting others before your self. You have touched so many peoples hearts and will live on threw them. This is not good bye but see you again XxXx

Although we personally didn’t know Jan , we often spoke about her beautiful grandson , her love & devotion for Sam & Oliver was evident . We are so sorry for your loss and pray for your all at this incredibly difficult time. May god bless you and wrap his loving arms around you and keep you all safe . X

I first met Jan when I was 13y old 40years ago, she was, a great friend, would do anything for anyone, Jan became a family member close to my mum, Samantha was born, Jan was great mum, always took time to visit my mum , who became close to Jan, Jan always remember my mum's birthday Xmas, My mum so fond Jan Samantha, Jan became gran, wee Ollie, who she adored, Jan was most kind hearted person you'd ever meet, Jan will never be forgotten, we will miss you xxx

I will miss our messaging from the top of the world to the 'Down Under'. She brightened my life with her strength of spirit and generosity. Condolences to you Sam and your family. Jan was and will remain a treasure. x

i will always remember and hold dear the times i got to spend with her during my vacation visits and the talks on messenger. not to mention her joy at recieving the liquorice we would send her now and then. she will be missed. xx
