James Hudson

Mr Hudson was such a wonderful man, I had the pleasure of being taught Science and ICT by him in Years 5 and 6. He constantly encouraged me to try my best and helped me develop my first website all those years ago, I honestly can say without him I'm not sure I would've gone down the programming and game development route without his encouragement. The best teacher I ever had without a shadow of a doubt. Rest in peace Mr Hudson, you honestly deserved the world.

He was the best teacher ever i still miss him the last time i spoke to him was when i was leaving the coach and he said “see you later”

Our hearts go out to Mr Hudson’s family. He was an enormous part of my daughter’s primary school experience. He always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. He will be remembered for his Pot Noodle lunch, crisps and fizzy pop with much fondness but more than anything he will be remembered for his positive impact on all the children who were privileged to be taught by him. We all felt deeply sad on hearing of Mr Hudson's passing. Both of our daughters were privileged to be taught by Mr Hudson. He was the most wonderful teacher, full of: fun, kindness, patience, care, encouragement and passion for his profession. He made a hugely positive impact on their educational journey, always drawing out the gold in them both and inspiring them to hone their skills. Our eldest was given the nickname CK Maxx. Mr Hudson was a keen recipient of our younger daughter's baking and would jokingly say, "the only problem with the cake was that it needed another one", or "it was sooo tasty I had to lick my fingers". We often heard how he enjoyed his regular chicken and mushroom pot noodle, washed down with vimto and sparkling water. He always shared a daily joke with the class and would be keen to share successes with parents at the school gate. We are forever grateful for all that he did for our children and the difference he made in their lives. The loss has been felt throughout our community. We pass our condolences to Mr Hudson's family, friends, work colleagues and all those lives were impacted by him.

Mr Hudson's class was one of the classes I begged to join. Sadly I could not. I remember his terrible jokes and humor with me and other children. R.I.P. I will always love him as a teacher.

It was very sad news to hear about Mr Hudson. You were such a brilliant teacher to both my boys, you helped them learn alot while you taught them. You will be missed by everyone. Rip Mr H xx

Just heard sad news of James Hudson death. He was my children's favourite teacher and was exactly 20 years older and my son James they had many shared interests aswell as the same name and birthday. He was a big inspiration to my son Jack who went on to do a master's degree in mathematics and a shared interest in chess. Mr Hudson was an inspiration to my 4th child who is just about to embark on being a teacher herself what a wonderful caring inspiration man he was. We will all greatly miss you. God bless you James

We are saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful teacher. Our daughter had the privilege to be in Mr Hudson's class and she thought the world of him. He gave our daughter confidence and inspired her to believe that anything is possible and we will be forever grateful. Our conversations always featured tales of Mr Hudson's jokes, his love of pot noodles and the latest nicknames for the children ('squeaky cheese' and then 'maxi Curtis and mini Curtis' for our two daughters). Our thoughts go to Mr Hudson's family, friends and staff at Hamble Primary.
