Condolences

Aaron James

My condolences go out to the family. I am so sorry too hear of the lost of a dear loved one to this family. Dealing with this situation can be the hardest thing to face. God's word the bible gives heartfelt and true meaning for ones sleeping in death; Revelation 21: 3,4 says: 3  With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” God also promises a hope for ones to have life again at John 5: 28,29a : Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29  and come out. I worked closely with Ian as part of the DMR Finance Practice and found him to be generous with his time and experience and always prepared to constructively exchange ideas. Ian was always considerate of other people and their views and had the highest professional standards. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Ian’s family, friends and colleagues Jan Blaha

Ian touched my professional life briefly but profoundly both at Colonial and Bluescope. My thoughts are with his family and close friends at this sad time for the loss of a fantastic loved one at such a young age. A life well lived Ian.

I have such fond memories of Ian. I will miss his consummate professionalism, his ready cheerfulness and his infinite loyalty. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love, wisdom and generosity. RIP Ian.

I had the privilege of working with Ian at Bluescope Steel and Australia Post. There are very few people alive who could fully comprehend the enormous complexity of very large businesses and now there is one less. I enormously enjoyed and will deeply miss the erudite discussions and our lunches with old friends. What a very sad time for us all.
