Attended the funeral of Gloria yesterday a sad occasion but was well attended by a lot of Gloria's friends and neighbours. We had been Gloria's neighbour for over 40 years and she will be missed

It was a sad day today, said goodbye to a dear friend R.I.P. Glo and yet celebrated a beautiful, Happy and fulfilled life. Glo your boys did you so proud and your grandchildren, a beautiful family tribute to you, you were so deeply loved and will continue to be so along with your many many friends as the poem that Ade read Remember Me, believe me we will never forget you xx R.I.P. my friend love as always. You will remain in my heart dear friend with very fond and happy memories. Until we meet again xx.

I was deeply saddened and devastated when I received the call about Glo, I met Gloria in 1991 when she joined Wolverhampton Youth Service. She came as the new Sector D manager, and she worked her way up to head of Youth and Community service along the way she had shed many atear, but she always put young people first. After working with Gloria for a while our friendship began to flourish. Gloria was not only my boss she became my rock she was a very dear friend. Glo we helped each other in many personal ways, there were ups and downs and I will never forget how you were there for me. We have cried rivers together and laughed together until it hurt. Glo may you Rest in peace my dear friend, you will always remain in my heart with our memories. Glo you were an amazing woman,and friend loved by many. love Carol xx

I'm am so sorry and heart broken to hear of this very sad news. She was a very passionate lady with a heart of gold. We had many conversations and tried to put the world right. She took my daughter under her wings when she came to do work experience form school, this kind act I will never ever forget. Gloria you will always have a very special place in my heart and you will never be forgotten. Rest in heaven x

So sorry to hear the sad news Gloria was a well liked and respected lady she will be sorely missed by all who knew her, we didn't see each other very often we worked in different offices, but we did meet up when we all went out together. Such a shock to hear she had passed away, my sincere condolences to her family my thought are with you.

I was so upset to hear about Gloria- we sat next to each other in choir and enjoyed our little chats before and between songs. She was always so friendly. Liz and I called her Cloria because we are told to sing a 'c' instead of a 'g' for words such as God and Gloria so we did and she took it in good part as it was intended. We will really miss her .
