GERARD HILTON ROGERS

Thank you everyone for your kind words and condolences, really and truly appreciate them. It was a joy and honor to experience this great gift in the person of Gerard. His was a life well lived. An true example of being salt and light. He will be missed but the positive impact of his life and legacy will live on.

Our deepest condolences to the wife and family of Gerard on behalf of the Norman Girvan Library Team.. I must say that in all my interactions with Gerard, I have always found him to be someone who was so very willing to assist (such as with training for our Staff), and such a very pleasant and caring individual. May you all be comforted by the wonderful memories of him and may his soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Oh Father!!! I only saw this post today. My heart sank and my jaw dropped wide open. Caroline and family my heart felt condolences go out to you all. I am lost for words, but comforted to know that Gerard was someone who loved and served the Lord alongside his dear wife Caroline. Caroline may the Lord confort and strengthen you at this time. Praying for you and family sis.

My deepest condolences to Gerard's wife and family. Condolences also to his Library and UWI families. I will treasure the memories of engaging in music and singing with him for the AJL's social events. Women of the AJL were blessed by his leadership of the annual Mother's Day celebrations. He was a compassionate and understanding supervisor to me and my colleagues in the Cataloguing Unit of the AJL. He and his contribution to the UWI will be missed. He loved his Lord, and exercised his ministry faithfully as a worship leader in his church. Thank God for his example. May God receive him in the blessed rest of everlasting peace.

My sincere condolences to Gerard's loved ones. He was a very kind, jovial and caring person. I also know that he loved the Lord. May the Lord continue to comfort and guide you through this most difficult time.

Both Gerard and l attended Oxford Graduate School now Omega Graduate School. I found him to be determined, compassionate, disciplined and truly a man of integrity. He always had that easy going smile and was always ready to discuss or share issues or ideas. He truly loved Jesus and was unashamed to declare his name. I wish to extend deepest condolences to his bereaved family and associates. Remember he has gone to meet his Lord and is in a better place. Be comforted with the peace and strength of the Spirit of God. Let us rejoice in the fact that he lived a blessed life and was a blessing to many.
