**Please feel free to add your own pictures and stories!** Mr. Gary Evan Payne died peacefully alongside close family on February 15th, 2017 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 64. Gary is survived by his wife Kimberly Payne (Paul) of McKinney, TX & Roanoke, IN; Sons Kris and Kyle Payne and wife Angela Payne(Aldridge) and grandchildren Landon and Sydney Evan both of Dallas, TX; twin brother Larry Payne and wife Dee Powers Payne of Atlanta, GA and sister Pamela Nichols(Payne) and husband Robert Nichols of Shreveport, LA. He is preceded in death by his Mother Wilma Jean Thompson Payne of Claremore, and Gus Emmett Payne, Jr. of Claremore. Gary was born on July 23th, 1952 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Gary began schooling at Sageeyah grade school, before moving to Tulsa Nimitz Middle School, and then graduating from Tulsa Memorial in 1970. Upon graduation from Tulsa Memorial, Gary attended the University of Arkansas with a focus on Business. His children remember him as a driven, focused, hilarious, and loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals and always be true to themselves. In 1988 Gary married Kimberly Anne Paul of Roanoke, IN and they remained best friends and the loves of one another’s lives for the past 29 years. Gary highly excelled in Sales, Marketing, and Management in various arenas of the business world, and won countless awards taking him all over the world. He was an avid sports fan but his main passion was for his wife, his family & friends, and most recently his young grandchildren. A celebration in lieu of service is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th at 6:00 PM at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, TX. The event will be a celebration of life for Gary, and attendees are encouraged to bring their best stories to share with all! My condolences go out to the family. I am so sorry too hear of the lost of a dear loved one to this family. Dealing with this situation can be the hardest thing to face. God's word the bible gives heartfelt and true meaning for ones sleeping in death; Revelation 21: 3,4 says: 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” God also promises a hope for ones to have life again at John 5: 28,29a : Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out. Loads of memories with Gary........red Camaros, late night messing around on a CB radio (Blackhawk was his handle), hanging out downstairs at our house loudly watching Mazeppa one Saturday night and waking up the old man, a special off to college dinner with dates at the Hurricane Club on the top of University Towers drinking our first Hurricanes (Bob Petty did not approve of this and I had to work several days for free to pay back) and many more. Saddened to hear of Gary's passing- Toby went to Memorial High School with the twins and has a lot of Great memories thru social clubs. Beth got to have Larry Payne as a boyfriend for a bit in high school, the first boy to give me roses-was impressed!!
