I haven’t seen you for many many years Gary. I went to school with you at Bridgnorth Endowed and ran into you in The Black Boy once. I always remember you from school. You were great fun to be around and funny. And it remember your early days trying to play the guitar and weight lifting and Going to the Castle Hall. You mattered mate. I was sad to hear the news. Garry, it was always lovely to come to site and have a good catch up with you, we shared lots of laughs together and I will miss your advice on any random question I had. I remember you always checking the traffic for me (and you) before we set off home. You were a lovely guy and will be much missed, Rest in Peace xxx

There aren't many people that you'll meet, and immediately sense their genuine good heart and kindness, but the few times I met or spoke to Garry, I felt exactly that. Not only were you so lovely, the warmth and happiness you brought to others is something very rare. I hope you are now at peace Garry. All my love, Melissa x

Wie ist deine Schlanger was always the greeting you gave me. Laughs a plenty as we ploughed through our German lessons together. Thanks also for all your help when I was a newbie at work. Miss your banter Gaz RIP x

I remember when you were recruited back in 2010 just as the Ops team was being formed and I was told, not asked, told to ‘look after you’….well, I think we both did our fair share of looking after each other over the 12+ years since and I am so pleased I was given the opportunity to work with you. Your kindness and humility shone through and the love you had for your children was evident in abundance as we often spoke about our kids and exchanged gifts at Christmases. I’m glad we managed to stay in touch when I moved to DD and, however poorly you were feeling, we still managed to have a reet good giggle over our regular Teams calls. You were one of a kind Garry and will be missed by so many people. Take care and rest in peace now my dear friend. Deb x

Gaz, you definitely made the Holford experience more enjoyable with your dry wit and your off the wall sense of humour. We had some terrific laughs turning the everyday mundane into the surreal. We would develop some great amusing 'alternative' solutions to many of life's problems. We also shared a love of history and particularly old war films which we would always quote and reference to get us through the day. You will be sorely missed. I'll see you in the 'Schloss Adler' tavern one day. Rest in Peace x
