Emma Stone
xx xx, xxxx - xx xx, xxxx
Our great friend and colleague Emma Stone has sadly passed away, she was loved and deeply respected by many of us in the UK business and beyond. Her presence will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her. We are sure that you have many personal memories, stories and anecdotes of Emma as a friend and colleague. For us to remember and to share with her friends and family we have created an online remembrance book for you to add your messages and photographs.

My son always referred to you as "nice Disney lady" - he was always excited to chat with you briefly and wave! I will remember you fondly as a witty, engaged, supportive, reliable...just a person you want to have next to you. Your resilience amazed me always, and I was very thankful for inspiration and challenges you were bringing in our relationship. We are missing you terribly, but you will stay in our hearts forever xx

Hi Em. It has taken me ages to actually commit to words on here. I have visited the page a few times, and then chickened out because the hole you've left behind is just to... big. I will start with the important stuff I guess: although she'd never want you there I am sure your mum is glad of a cuddle from her girl. Do you reckon you can start a cat sanctuary in heaven? Is that possible? Because if it is then the angels have gained the best asset in town. Do you think Ikea still sell that amazing green metal chest of draws you have in your office - I hope so. I might copy you. I obviously have a cat to sit on top of them (Dave - Ness couldn't drag her body weight up that far as you know). I am going to get into Ted Talks because you rated them so highly - thanks for the recommendation. I have also planted sweetpeas this year for the first time. In a pot - but the pot is too big for the windowsill. So it's outside. I know you told me this is wrong but I had no choice. Imagine the cats jumping onto the windowsill that supports an oversized pot full of soil and sweetpeas? Carnage. Final one - I am going to go "on-line Nintendo" - I think you said it's £3.99 per month? Bargain considering I can play Street Fighter from the 90's. Chun Li - obvs. Right, now all of the high brow stuff is covered - all that remains to say is... I am so grateful I got to hug you (once when you weren't expecting it at the Celtic Manor - sorry!!) and then multiple times in Amsterdam in March this year. Love you Em, you are a truly beautiful human and you will stay with me forever. xx

It's taken me a little while to know what to say. I have too many happy memories from coming to visit you when you lived in Northampton to our "work" chats putting the world to rights. Even remembering the support you gave to the Good Loaf in their early days and finding the little outfit you bought for Riley when he was tiny. I will miss you so much... To say it came as a shock is an understatement to say the least. I hope you are resting, free from pain and smiling as always down on us (sometimes with a knowing laugh). I am lucky to have been able to call you a friend. You will forever be in my heart Em xxx

Oh our lovely and kind Emma...How is it possible that I am writing this? To say we are all heartbroken is a complete understatement. I feel so proud to say that you were my friend, always therefore me, Chris and the children and I will always be so grateful to you for our chats, texts and the little gifts you would send me and the children to let us know you were thinking of us You will never know how much your support meant to me particularly throughout last year. Your infectious smile and positivity will always be remembered. I am going to miss you so very much Em. Till we meet again my beautiful friend. Love you xxx

Ems, anyone who was lucky enough to have spent time with you will know how inspirational you are. Yes, you had health challenges, but you never let them define you. You were always forward thinking, always positive and always thinking of others. I have been fortunate enough to have you as a colleague and a friend in my life for many years. We worked on so many events together and their success were down to the hard work and creative fun you brought into the mix. Above all else you brought a genuine kindness and care into the workplace. Words can’t describe the shock, sadness, and loss we are all feeling. You will be missed. Rest well Ems. xx

Beautiful Emma - I am at a loss really and like everyone feel totally heartbroken, numb and in a state of disbelief. You were one in a trillion-million..... I have never ever known anyone with the courage and dignity that you displayed every day. You always had that beautiful infectious smile and that little chuckle that made me smile. Through all the health setbacks you faced, again it was always done with that beautiful smile, and you ALWAYS asked "and How are you"? - totally selfless. I also still wish that I could of worn that lovely perfume you were wearing one day - I think you thought I was a bit strange as I couldn't stop smelling you....anyway I tried the same perfume on me and it smelt like cat pee!!! We have lost the most amazing, beautiful lady and heaven has gained the most glorious angel. RIP Emma - and until we meet again - love you xx

Emma, although I only knew you for a short time, you were always so helpful and friendly. Every time we had a call, you had a smile on your face and I enjoyed our conversations about the adventures of your cat, when she went off to the neighbours. Rest in peace. Dave x
