xx xx, xxxx - xx xx, xxxx
Since the very first day of opening, Eileen was a mum to us all at Silver Wheels Roller Rink. She will be missed by many generations of us kids (all now grown up) who had some of the best years of our lives whilst Eileen and Neal kept a safe watch over us. Rest in Peace Eileen, you will live forever in our hearts. x

I was so sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. She was a lovely, kind lady who was always smiling and looked after us all at the rink. My love and thoughts go out to Neal and all of Eileen's family and friend's xx

Started going to the rink when I was about 17/18 late starter but I lived quite far away and the bus service was awful. I was very hyeractive.... sometimes too hyper, but Neal and Eileen were there to put some boundaries down. I got asked to help clean up in the evenings and Eileen would give me a lift up to Sale where I could get the last bus home to Partington. We had many a late night chat putting the world to rights while washing the tables. Thanks for letting me burn off energy and calming me down. Finding out Im neurodiverse gave me an answer to alot of it. But Eileen was the calmest person I knew and chatting to her kept me calm. I moved away from Mcr in 2009 but I took with me many happy memories of the rink. RIP Eileen xxx

I remember the first time I went there seeing Eileen’s cheery face when I handed her my money and Neil’s cheaky smile as I walked passed him at the door the enormous buzzing feeling of so many happy and contented people all having fun giggling and laughing was infectious I knew instantly that I had found my happy place. The kindness of Eileen made this my second home and I looked up to both of them I’m glad we got all together for the closing of silverwheeles as it had made our crew stronger and have also kept in touch since. Eileen you will be missed far and wide but will always be in my thoughts thanks for giving my teenage years the best they could of been xxx

To Neal, Helen, Simon and all of Eileen's wider family, even though we moved on in years, the memory of Eileen has and always will bring a smile to our hearts. Your loss is a pain we all feel, but Eileen's memory is a smile we will always share. x
