I am so sorry for this terrible loss, my deepest condolences to Edi´s family and all his loved ones. Edi was an amazing human being, his energy and sense of humor made it easy to work with him. He had a passion for helping people and truly believed in the impact of the humanitarian work. I admired how he respected our culture and made an effort to understand us and shared our traditions. He will always be remembered with love.

My most deepest condolences to Edi's family and friends. Edi was a gentle person, committed colleague and a pleasure to work with. His kindness will remain in our hearts for ever.

Edi was that kind of person everyone who interacted with him will remember – fueled by his charisma, his humility and his humbleness that defined him as a person. I was moved by his sense of belonging to this profession, and undoubtedly contributed to define what a person working in the humanitarian field should be like. I met Edi both in Caracas and in Guasdualito and was always impressed by his personality.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that Edi was loved and respected.

Dejaste una huella que sin duda permanecerá siempre entre quienes te conocimos. Transmitías luz, brillo y carisma, que las personas tienen, o no tienen. Tú lo tuviste. Transmito también las condolencias de los colegas de la operación de Sudáfrica con quienes estuviste recientemente en contacto y tuvueron la suerte de conectarse contigo.

Mi mas sinceras condolencias a los familiares de Edi, me tocó atenderlo por primera vez en el aeropuerto cuando llegó a Venezuela y orientarlo varias veces. El fué una persona muy humilde y sencilla en el tiempo que lo conocí, con un gran sentido del humor y compañerismo. Es una pérdida muy lamentable, paz a sus restos.
