Diana Ciftci

Diana, you were the coolest little girl, always smiling, always ready to be everyone's friend. You looked after all those around you, ensuring they were happy, thank-you for bringing so much warmth to us all. When you weren't well, your mummy told me your name means 'Sun', and you truly are the embodiment of this. You were sunshine at Betty Layward school and your light will always be remembered. Sending love to you little angel in the sky.

Diana, words cannot do justice to how wonderful you were. I loved spending time with you and your smile brightened everyone's day. Your positivity was an example for us all. You always offered help and were brilliant at any job we gave you. You loved your jobs and took your responsibilities very seriously. I feel very lucky to have known you, to have been your headteacher and to have spent time with you. You taught me that positivity is always possible, even when times are hard. You showed us that there is sunshine all around us and you were that sunshine for me. Thank you, Diana, for being the wonderful you that you were. I will miss you and will never forget you. I will always smile when I think about you as you always smiled at me.

Diana, you are and you will be missed at Betty Layward. Thank you for being part of our school community, for sharing your bright smile and your kindness with all your classmates. Our deepest condolences to your family, hoping they can feel the support and love of the whole school and it helps them to go through such incredibly difficult moments.

Diana, you were the first one to interact with me in the playground when it was my first day working at Betty Layward. I always remember that day because it gave me so much hope. This was because of you, because of your kind nature, curiosity and welcoming aura. With you, no one ever felt left out. Even on your hardest days you remained positive for everyone around you. To quote a sticker you made sure I never took off my badge, "Don't worry, be happy". I will remember those words, in the same way we will always remember you x

Diana, You lit the room up with your incredible smile and always wanted to help others. You were the kindest little girl ive ever had the pleasure to know.. We miss you and I send my heartfelt condolences to your family and everyone who loved you as much as we do at Betty Layward school xxxx

Diana, I remember seeing you not too long before you became an angel with wings. Commenting on your lovely outfit and how you looked ‘pretty in pink’. You will always be that dear little girl I remember at Betty Layward in your early school days. Always with the warmest of smiles. I hope our precious memories of you give your parents comfort.
