David Conrad Asch

I was so fortunate to have David as my boss at DMU. He was the best boss I've ever had--tough, fair, thoughtful, supportive. He really invested in me, and I learned so much as a result. I'm so sad to hear he has passed. My condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear this sad news. David was Deputy Vice-Chancellor and my boss at De Montfort University, where he was both a strong manager and a nice man. We had overlapped earlier at the Open University, and I met him few times in later years through his role at EFMD in Brussels. He was wise and knowledgeable. A sad loss.

Saddened to hear David has passed - my deepest condolences to his family. I was lucky enough to have worked with him, along with colleagues at IOCT and before that in the Faculty of Business & Law at De Montfort Uni. His professionalism, integrity, insight and humour as well as guidance and support are something I will always appreciate and remember.

I have only just heard this very sad news. David was my boss at De Montfort University where we established the Institute Of Creative Technologies. He was a wonderful colleague, with great leadership skills and a delightful sense of humour. My deep condolences to his family. Professor Andrew Hugill.

David was a key academic in the early days of the Open University Business School, chairing the first course team I worked on and being a great Dean and colleague for many years, as well as an excellent MBA tutor. How sad to hear of his death, way too early. My thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

Only a few years I spent close to you, David, and you paved me the way towards better understanding the classic British lifestyle. I will dearly remember you.
