Craig Mair

Thinking of Craig’s family at this difficult time and knowing how tough the first Christmas will feel this year without him. I worked with Craig at LEGO and actually have a funny story how we met, as he interviewed me by accident! I felt the interview wasn’t going great, I was too nervous and he suddenly said ‘I’m not sure you are who I am supposed to be interviewing?!’ My stomach sank and I felt as embarrassed as he did I think, however we laughed a lot! He took me back to reception to be met by Phil Markham, which thankfully my nerves had gone by this stage and I explained to Phil what had happened and I was incredibly grateful and excited to have got the job. I always saw Craig as a cool character who had clearly climbed the ladder at Lego through his talent. He was open and very approachable, even more senior than me I remember doing tasks with him and him being so real and on a level that made you feel you could speak up/ be yourself and share ideas. I remember when he found out I was pregnant he discreetly congratulated me which was very kind and said I had an exciting journey ahead. Such sad news but rest easy Craig, it was great knowing you :) x

Thinking of Craig's family and all his friends at this very very difficult time. I still cannot believe Craig's passing. Taken from this world too soon. Back in 2016, in the office desk move, I was fortunate enough to have Craig as my "desk partner" and there was so much I learnt from his experience in the LEGO Group and the toy industry. I will also never forget the "No" key chain on the wall behind us that we used to constantly use to have a bit of fun at the office. Rest in peace, Craig.

Thinking of Craig's family and friends as we celebrate the life of Craig. My thoughts are with you all. I had the privilege of working with Craig at The LEGO Group and creating many fond memories over the years. He was a smart, driven, passionate leader and colleague who always brought an element of fun to everything. He will be missed x

I had the pleasure of living next door to Craig and family for many years, the BBQ and partying where amazing, from our first meeting when I pushed him in the kids paddling we never looked back RIP babe xx

When I joined LEGO in 2008, Craig was one of the first to make me feel welcome and instantly invited me to a rugby game he had a spare ticket for (I have no interest in rugby so politely declined) but it showed the warmth and inclusive nature of the man. One of the good guys, what you saw was what you got. Forever helpful and supportive and taken way too soon, rest well mate, love and condolences to the family x

I have so many fond memories of Craig from our time working together at LEGO, most of them involving lots of fun, laughter and a lot of taking the piss. A genuinely nice guy who adored his family and always had time for everyone. I'm so sorry that he's gone and am sending condolences to all his family and friends x

I am so sorry to hear of Craig's passing. I worked with Craig for a number of years & his genuine care for others and passion really shone through. He always made the time to listen to me and everyone else, treating people with respect & kindness. He will be very missed.
