Chris Parker

So shocked to hear about the sad news about Chris, my deepest condolences go to his closest friends and his family. He was a senior manager when I first joined Cambs in 2014, and he was always approachable, friendly and respectful. I know he was well respected in the fire service world and will be missed by those who knew him. RIP Chris.

I really don't have the words to express how I felt when I heard the devastating news about Chris.my heart hangs heavy with his lovely wife and children Chris was a true gentleman and was always genuine with his words of advice and wisdom I worked with Chris at Huntingdon fire station he was a bit partial to a bacon roll and some cheesecake which I had the pleasure of cooking for him Sleep tight Chris xxx

My sincerest condolences to all of Chris' family and friends. He was a true gent, so kind and fair-minded as a manager and colleague. Always wanted to do right by people. He had so much integrity in all he did and so genuine towards everyone. He will be very much missed.

Chris was warm hearted, considered and thoughtful with his words and a consistent character. He led well, taking everyone with him and helping people to release their potential wherever he could. It was a privilege working with him. I wish his family every blessing.

Heartbreaking news. Chris will be sadly missed by so many. Chris mentored me several years back and was a great help. He always gave his time and knowledge freely and really helped me. He was taken from this world far too soon and my thoughts go out to his family

Utterly heartbreaking news. I am honoured to have worked with Chris at CFRS. Such authenticity of character and always a pleasure to be around. Chris and I joined CFRS in 1996. At training school I found Chris to be funny, intelligent, down to earth and genuine. He was a great guy to be around and I can honestly say he didn't change in all his years in the job. A tragic loss to everyone in the service and my deepest condolences to Chris's family at this difficult time. He will be missed by so many.. Rest in peace mate.

I was so shocked to hear of this really sad devastating news. I would like to express my sincere condolences to all of the family but my heart hangs particularly heavy for Michelle, Alfie, Ruby and Evie who have lost a husband and father. Our paths have crossed for many years from school, children's football and dance and then work. It was a real pleasure working at Cambridge and Training Centre with you and i will always remember the help, advise, support and encouragement you offered along with so many laughs. Loved and liked by so many, you will be missed but your memories will live on with all those people who had the pleasure of knowing you. Rest in Peace Chris x
