On behalf of Lt Cdr Olorogun & Olorogun Mrs L. Ikolo and family, I extend our condolences and join you in celebrating the life of "Uncle Obudu" as we fondly called him. Our memories of growing up in Navytown remains the best, and he was a great part of it. My dad like many others, testifies that you were a blessing to him while in service and beyond. We thank God for the blessing of you, as we bid you farewell. To mummy Obudu, my dear sis, Bunmi, and my brothers, Efe, Onome, & Are - the lord strengthens you all, amen.

With heavy hearts but total submission to the will of God we say goodnight Daddy. We love you but God loves you best. You lived a full life and your children are a testament to the kind of man you were. They exude love, wisdom, affection and attention to all and sundry which shows the traits you instilled in them. You are loved and will be grately missed but we all rest on the promises of God that you are in a better place watching over us. Rest well sir and be rest assured that your legacy lives on.

Tribute to a Father I was Blessed to Call My Own Some people are fathers by birth, while others become fathers by the love they freely give. Daddy was both. Though I was not one of his biological sons, he never made me feel like an outsider. Growing up with my best friend, there were so many days we would miss each other on our way home from school (University) and end up in each other's houses. What stood out was that whether I was in my own home or his, it never felt different. His home was my home, and he welcomed me as one of his own. Daddy was a man of wisdom and discipline. He wasn't the kind to crack many jokes, but every word he spoke carried purpose. His advice was firm, sincere, and always came from a place of genuine love and concern. He helped shape not just his three sons, but many of us who had the privilege of growing under his influence. Like Father Abraham had many sons, Daddy had far more than three I am proud to say I am one of them. Looking at the man I have become today, I can confidently say that part of who I am is because of the values, guidance, and example he gave us. His investment in my life was never wasted. On behalf of Margaret and Mateo and Myself, we want to say thank you, Daddy, for opening your home, your heart, and your life to us. Thank you for every correction, every piece of advice, every prayer, and every act of kindness. Your legacy is not only in your children but also in the many lives you touched, us included. Today, my heart is heavy. As a Registered Nurse, I have dedicated myself to caring for others, bringing comfort, and doing my very best for every patient entrusted to me. Losing you has been one of the most painful experiences of my nursing career. I never imagined that I would have to say goodbye so soon. I remember the hope, the prayers, and the determination to see you recover. Despite every effort, some battles are beyond our control, and your passing is a painful reminder of how fragile life truly is. Though our time together was short, your life mattered, and your memory will remain with me. You were more than just a patient; you were a person whose journey touched my heart.
