Catalin Pop

Este dureros si trist sa nu-l mai avem pe Catalin printre noi – un om atat de bun, cald si prietenos. Pierderea lui este grea pentru toti cei care l-au cunoscut si doresc multa putere prietenilor, colegilor si-n mod special familiei ca sa poata trece peste aceste momente atat de indurerate. Dormi in pace suflet bun!

Such sad news… Not only Catalin was clearly a very competent support colleague, but he’s always been very kind and nice as well. And so so very young… A terrible loss for us, but even more so for his children, wife and family. I wish them all the strength in the world.

A cup of coffee made in our La Marzocco coffee machine in the old office in Constanta street. This is my first memory with Catalin. He used to visit my office and talk about how to make a good coffee , why the roasting is essential, how he is going to buy a coffee roaster equipment and so many other topics around our shared passion. Later when we moved to our new office he continued to come and meet at the 5th floor. I remember his talks about the kids , challenges , joys, our products, our teams, but we always ended by talking about coffee. I still have 1 cappuccino cup from Catalin, a nice one, from one of his providers. I will do my best to keep it as long as possible and remember my dear colleague, prove of the fact that our passion makes people remember us way long after we move somewhere else. "All are from the dust, and to dust all return."...if I have a regret is that we talked so little about our soul and about eternity. Catalin, rest in peace! May the Lord protect your wife and kids and put them under his protection! Goodbye my friend !

This is really sad news, I have no words… Catalin was always very kind and helpful, always a pleasure to work with. My special thoughts go to his children. May these condolences bring you some peace during this painful time.

This is a tragic loss to our wonderful colleague and friend. Cata was one of the most helpful, hard working friend and always with the desire to help everybody out. He was one of the good guys and unfortunately we lost a kind soul. I hope that wherever he is he gets some good fucking coffee. He deserves it! Rest in peace bro!

Who would have thought the case 00671490 we worked on last Friday, was the last one to work on together. You resolved it and I will close it for you. Rest in Peace, dear friend. Sending my deepest condolences to your family.
