A loving father and husband, a faithful servant of God. COVID restrictions make the funeral service extremely limited, so only immediate family will be able to attend in person. If you wish to pay your respects, and in the spirit of "making the best of it", please feel free to share your memories, photos, videos and condolences here. Brian Wade was a quiet, spiritual man who we remember also as a very humble, faithful leader in the stake. He gave Patriarchal Blessings to all our children and he had great words of wisdom to share at all times. His talks were fascinating and he was a wonderful example to our family. He will be very much missed.

Brian was a spiritual giant and devoted husband and father. He was the stake clerk while I served my mission and without fail he sent a cheque from the stake missionary fund to support my living expenses for the whole two years. After that he served as the Bishop of Northampton and conducted the wedding service for Sharon Lover and myself. Such a memorable day in the Northampton chapel with a choir from the ward to help celebrate our big day. Thanks to the man for blessing our lives. Enjoy meeting up with family and friends on the other side.

I have many fond memories of "Bishop" Wade, not excluding Bishop honour dinner when we the young women sang to him, and my sister gave him lemon meringue pie. Which he insisted was the best he ever had! He was a gentle man in every sense of the word. I have many sketches of him giving talks and have kept his quotes in my scriptures.

Brian was a spiritual giant and a kind, humble, gentleman, he inspired me and was such a great example of someone who followed the Saviour and his teachings. Together Brian and l brought my daughter Louise and Brian’s son Andy together it was a meant to be scenario with the Lords hands in our affairs. What a great legacy he has left behind in his wonderful family, and the hundreds of people’s lives he has touched and helped for good. Brian will be very missed by myself and many others because men like Brian are hard to replace. God bless you Brian l know you will be serving as hard on the other side of the veil as you did here.

I remember what a good speaker Brian was - especially at weddings and when he was the Stake President. He had a rare ability to speak with humility and strength and had a wonderful testimony. It was lovely to see him at the temple in recent years. We both lost our first partners to cancer and had re-married. Brian and Linda were always a fantastic couple - her the extrovert and he was quietly confident. I know how proud they were of their family and they have a fantastic legacy in their children and grand children. You will all see them again as I am sure they have done enough to be with their Saviour eternally.

The whole family wish to add our love and support to you all. Uncle Brian had a deep impact on my and my family's life. We had a random conversation about how we need to be better at lifting each other. Less judgement and telling others what to do and more of encouraging, supporting and lifting each other. Since then I have really tried to live by that. My three oldest all received their patriarchal blessings from Uncle Brian and were tremendously affected by the experience. They knew he had prepared, they sensed his deep concern for them and knew he was speaking the words the Lord would have him speak. They were very personal and deeply spiritual moments that have left long lasting impressions. I am so grateful he was and is my uncle. With love and fond affection x
