For my wonderful Father Bernard James Back. A humble man who lived a wholesome life. From building the first Concorde in Filton, Bristol to becoming president of The Somerset Bowling Club whilst dedicating much of his life to his son's early years in competition swimming 7 days a week. I feel blessed to have had my Dad as a father who helped me grow as a man and I'm proud to leave this forever tribute to him. Thank you Dad. I love you.

Uncle B as I fondly called you which always made you smile! You so very much reminded me of my dad (Barry) which has offered me great comfort over the years. I will always remember your smile, positivity, calmness and your sense of humour, all of these attributes have been passed onto Ali, who I’m very blessed to have as my cousin, you will be so very missed by us all xx

Uncle Bernard a true gentleman and hero. I remember you throwing me up in the air as a child and me feeling like I could fly. You were kind and funny and always reminded me of my Dad your brother Barry which gave me great comfort. Your legacy of being kind, and a total legend will live on in your son Ali through his compassion and community work. Ali you will always remind me of Uncle Bernard as I'm sure others will say and that is a great source of comfort xxx
