Audrey Austin

I was very sad to hear that Audrey had passed away. She was a beautiful person and I was very fond of her.

I just want to say how sorry I am on the loss of Audrey and to give my condolences. She was a dear friend and colleague. All the beautiful sentiments expressed by those of us lucky enough to have worked with her are but a reflection of the person she was. The museum will be a sadder place when we return.

Audrey had the most rare gift - a gentle, kind, gracious, wise, sincere personality -- allowing everyone she worked with to love her. We all felt better about ourselves and the world after a wee chat with Audrey. She has left her mark on all who were fortunate enough to have met and worked alongside her. Audrey will be sorely missed by us all at the museum.

Audrey, thank you for being the most wonderful friend and colleague here on Earth. It's very hard to believe we be going bird watching again. Every time I hear the Song Thrush, I always think of you as you gave me the best (and funniest) way to recognise them. Thank you for so many happy memories. You were love personified. My heart goes out to all your family and lovely granddaughter Olivia, who kindly helped us at Mount Stewart many times. Rest In Peace beautiful lady xx

Audrey, the Norahs will miss you. Our wee motley crew, We will miss your company and laughter and fun, Our adventures together, tea and your gluten free bun. Our sing-alongs and bus trips will be missing a big part, 'Cause an Audrey shaped piece is part of our heart.

Audrey will always be in my memory as a fun loving person who was great craic on Norah outings. She will be missed! Very sorry for the family's loss

Audrey you were a beautiful, kind, gentle & caring person. I always enjoyed our chats and laughs. You always put a smile on everyones face. You will be sorely missed by everyone at the Museum. Thoughts and prayers with all the family at this sad time. It was a privilege to have known this beautiful and humble lady and a joy to be part of her journey over the past 8 years with the United Voices Choir where she gave up her time and energy to accompany the choir on piano raising funds for charity. The laughter and craic was mighty. Treasured Memories. Audrey you will be forever remembered, forever missed.
