Ashley George Junior Watson, first born son of Doreen Sonia Williams and Albert George Watson died suddenly on Sunday 10 November, 2024. Shabana his wife, Aayan their child and extended family are devestated. Ashley was laid to rest on Friday 15 November, 2024. His wife has sent the following message, "it was such a beautiful day filled with love and prayers. So many people came to honor him, and we are deeply touched by the outpouring of support. Being a Friday, he was blessed with extra prayers from the community at the Mosque, which brought us great comfort. The number of people who assisted in his burial was overwhelming, and though it feels surreal to say, he looked truly at peace. Thank you for all the kind and comforting messages-- I've read each one, and they mean so much. One of his godmothers has created a memory page where you can share your memories of Ashley. These will be treasured by the family, and one day, his son Aayan will be able to look back and see just how deeply his father was loved. Please keep Ashley in your prayers, and thank you again for your love and support. It has brought us immense strength during this time. Much love, Shabana"

This news has come as a terrible shock. I send deepest sympathy not only from myself, but also from Jennie's mother in-law and sister-in law, who have happy memories of meeting Ashley back in the day. Our thoughts are with Ashley's family at this sad time.
