Our friend and colleague Angela Stuart passed away after a short illness. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday 14th July. We are all shocked and deeply saddened by this news. Angie was a much loved member of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough 111 team and worked as a Health Advisor for over 4 and a half years. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Angie and her family at this very difficult time. We have been in touch with her daughter, who has said there won’t be a funeral as such, but there would be a ‘final hoorah’ to which HUC staff would be very welcome to come. You were lovely and kind towards your patients and all staff. I am sorry that I couldn't have spent more time getting to know you. Oh Ang! What an absolute pleasure it was to meet you, to work together and share some laughs along the way. You will be greatly missed as a strong, capable and loving person, a lady that strived for things to be done right and with such beautiful straight talking and grace! You showed such kindness and care to anyone crossing your path, you showed love and support where you could see a need for it too and all whilst giving your time despite being an extremely busy lady. Such vibrancy will be so very missed. My thoughts go out to all family and friends x
