It's with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved father and husband, Andrew Moss, at the age of 72. His passing has left a big void in our lives and he will be sorely missed. We are very grateful for all the kind messages we have already started receiving, they mean a lot to us. Seeing as many of those who knew him are now spread out across the world, we wanted to find a way to capture any memories, stories, thoughts or words that anyone wanted to share. He was a wise, kind, thoughtful, witty, eccentric, mischievous and sensitive soul. Being a teacher was without any doubt his life's purpose which brought him immense pride and joy. He was also a wonderful father, brother, uncle, husband and friend in too many ways to mention. We are grateful to have been a part of his journey and are very proud of what he achieved, and everything he did to encourage and inspire the generations of children that he taught. To quote him in his own words... "What a weird and wonderful life it has been"...

Just heard sad news of Andrew’s passing. RIP Andrew. I have happy memories of Andrew & Barbara as integral members of our Padgate “family” back in the day. Inevitably post Padgate, I lost touch with Andrew but the memories live on. Sincere condolences to all of Andrew’s family.

Andrew was a member of that very rare breed of teachers: the truly gifted. Dedicated, creative and inspirational in the classroom, instinctively he knew how to draw the best from his children. As a colleague he was greatly respected and well-liked. It was a pleasure to have known him and to have worked with him ... closely and with great fun and fond memories in Sue's case. We are greatly saddened by his death and send our sincere condolences to Jackie and his family.
