Andre was a hurricane, a force of nature. Nobody who met him, would ever forget him, he'd make sure of that. He was an economist, hard working and committed. He was a poet, a musician, an actor. He loved food, books and beauty. He was intelligent, creative, kind and very funny. We have an Andre ('Onni') shaped hole in our life now. He was a big guy, so that's a big hole. We would like to thank you for all your kind messages, cards, flowers and reafs. They do provide comfort in this particular hard time of our lives. Watch Naya's video, a loving tribute to Andre.

Reaching an age where I forget a lot. I have to count the years with my fingers. I count five, yet, it seems like it was yesterday. Life went on for some reason and it is a blessing that I get to spend it with my loved ones. There will, however, forever be a before and after that only people in the same or similar situation will understand, which makes one feel lonely at times. I love sitting alone with you. I miss you less, because now I carry you within. It is a heavy load every now and then, and sometimes I have to leave you for a bit but I always come back. Love you forever

From reviewing the messages and filming,plus our social time together in Malta, it confirms my belief that the Chehabs are a family of abundant love and togetheness which makes this all the harder but will unite you as you honor his memory. He'll live in our minds as we knew him and he'll leave a big hole in the mind of anyone who knew him. These beautiful pictures, took me back in time to the 70's, when we used to gather every night till early morning having fun & listening to Joe's guitar. God bless Andre's soul because I'm confident he'll be in a better place in Heaven. Onni will live in our minds forever and surely he'll be missed.
