Allison Hazel

Such sad news. Lawrence and Ms Hazel shared the same passion for reading and football. We loved saying hello to her at Harlow Town and also sharing our thoughts about the books Lawrence and I read together at home through the reading log. She will be missed by many and our thoughts are with her family, friends and all the school community.

I worked with Allison for a short while at Freshwaters school. She was such a lovely lady and a dedicated teacher. I hope she knew how much she was valued. May you rest in peace now X

Well what can I say, you took my son under your wings and saw him through a year and a half of schooling with such understanding and patience! You gave your lunch break to sit with him as he struggled with the hall, you always gave 100% of care and compassion and I will be forever grateful

I still cannot find words to express the sadness I feel. Allison will be missed by so many people and the world will be a poorer place without her. J xx

All of our three children knew Ms Hazel through her Book Club and Harlow Town Football. She also taught my son this year and he genuinely adored her. He was so keen to please her. She made him smile, for example when she threw and caught balls in a funny way to make her class laugh. She really knew and understood Thomas, and children in general, and she cared about them. She got the best from Tom and clearly worked long hours to do it. She has left a positive footprint in his life, and we thank her for that. Ms Hazel, know that you are loved and will be missed. Our thoughts are with your family and friends.

Allison was such a kind, caring, helpful lady. She will be sadly missed by everybody. My thoughts go to her family at this sad time.

Oh my goodness, I have just seen this now. What an absolute shock. Such a lovely teacher. She was my son's teacher - Matthew. I just informed Matthew now, and he was so sad. My daughter Angel is also in tears now. May Allison's beautiful soul rest in perfect peace.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear this devastating news. Ms Hazel was a wonderful teacher, and person. We first met her in September when she became my son Tommy’s new teacher. He quickly became very fond of her and her teaching. During lockdown she was so supportive and positive towards Tommy, always praising him for his hard work and effort and even challenging him to extra work, always pushing him in the right direction even during lockdown. I am so glad I got to thank you and tell you how wonderful you had been to us and how much Tommy had missed you and seeing you in the classroom
