Alero, I was speechless at the news of your death on Solomon Dare's wall. I'm still speechless. Even though I met you during my law office practice days in 2007 at El-Shaddai Chambers, there was a lot about you that I wanted to emulate. To know that you stayed true to serve the firm of Samuel Zibiri SAN till it has become what it is today is yet another virtue worthy of emulation. I want to have someone like you. You're not just a beautiful soul. You're a committed person. In death, you still warm the hearts of many. Your kind is rare. More rare now that you're gone. Sleep on Alero.

ALEROOO... You were larger than life, sweet spirited, ever smiling, full of life, smart, intelligent, a lover of GOD, a lover of people and a go-getter! Your zest for life was contagious! There were no dull moments with you. You fought to the end and guess what? ...heads or tail, you still won gurl! A day before your trip to Kano earlier in the year, I visited you and except for the weight loss, there was nothing on you that showed you were going through a battle of life & death! Oh how we believed, prayed and made plans for a thanksgiving service/celebration when you recover! ...and you did recover but this time on the other side with the Trinity and the angels where you are now pain-free and sress-free for all eternity! Enter your rest sweet Alero! Yes...you have laid down your sword so enter your rest daughter of Zion! Rock your crown! Enjoy your mansion! Delight in the streets of gold! Dance with the angels! Gist with the Patriachs/Heros of faith! Worship Abba Father. Sleep on beautiful soul until we meet at the Resurrection Morning! Forever in our hearts you remain! Some nights come too early... Dear HOC, It has taken me this long to pen my condolence cos I couldn’t bring myself to believe that u truly gone. U were energetic, blatantly honest, caring, loving, lively & full of fun. These are the memories of u I will always hold dear. U belonged to the place that stars rise, u were a glittering & shimmering beauty in the darkness who was born to shine unfortunately the light was dimmed early. Everything that u had set out to become has now been cut short. We have cried till there is no droplet of tears anymore. All I can now say is rest on in glory my dear. Heaven has gained u & we are consoled by the fact that u lived for Christ & died in him. I will forever cherish all our memories. Continue to rest my dear in the bosom of the lord. Adieu

Miss Pessu like I fondly called you and with a very huge smile on your face and a gigantic hug you will say miss Iliya my darling..... I am still leaving in denial and hoping that I will wake up from this horrible horrible dream but reality is gradually dawning on me and I have to accept that you have gone home to take up the role of an angel that you have always been. Knowing you since the early 90s in FGGC Gboko was a blessing cos you have brought so much joy and peace to me each time I was around you, i have never seen you without a smile even when in pains and you have also never been without a sweet or kind word for people around you. You were such a sweet soul and a shining light to all, I must say that heaven has gained an angel. As you are laid to mother earth tomorrow, my sweet sister, I pray the host of heaven receive you and grant you eternal rest, I choose to cherish all the great memories we shared till we meet to part no more. I will always love you, journey well my sweetheart❤

Alero (Angbian- meaning Sister)as we fondly called each other. For three decades I have known you. From BCC staff quarters, FGGC Gboko(97set), Benue State University, Makurdi, and to Abuja.We have grown together in joy and laughter ❤. To refer to you in past tense is indeed terrifying. But as a daughter of Zion whom you are,and have professed since our teenage years, I am certain Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Everyone's testimony about you, simply sums up your personality; you are humble, Cheerful, caring and always reaching out irrespective how long you've known the person( a lifetime or just met) .. Yes I used "are" because you still live within our hearts and I can still see your ever smiling face. During our PMC days it didn't take you long to endear yourself to me and babe and that was the beginning of our friendship . We'll dearly miss you but your memories lives within us for keeps...
