Adam Lane

We were truly saddened to hear of Adam's passing. He was a great partner to work with. Our condolences to Adam's family.

This has hit me hard. It's taken me all week to get the strength to even open this page and try write something. All I can think about now is Adam's family, Charlotte and his friends, and how hard this must be - my deepest, heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. I've worked with Adam for such a long time and over the last few years had the privileged of working with him more closely as I took on the IT team. I'd love the chats and banter, mostly around football, but also about his adventures into the wild (even if that was just the woods near his home). He was great at his job, but what is more is that he was such a nice guy - everyone knew him and loved having little friendly chats. He'd go out of his way to help everyone. That's how I'll remember Adam. Whilst I'm still in complete shock and disbelief, I'm grateful that I had the chance to meet Adam. Love to Adam's family and friends. xx

My deepest condolences go to Adams Family, Friends, Charlotte and Yvonne. Adam was such a good person and was always there whenever I needed him for any help. He honestly could not do enough for you, he was such a good person and he will be missed by many. I remember going out for a meal with Adam, Charlotte, Yvonne and a few others it was such a good night and was a really great memory to have. You will be missed Adam x

My sincere condolences to Adams family, Charlotte and Yvonne. Adam was such a kind, funny guy. I remember going out for a meal with Adam his brother, Charlotte, Yvonne, Holly and Lauren. We had such a good night full of laughter.

Until now, I have not been able to open this memorial page. I think I am still in denial. His passing is so heart-breaking. If am sad, I can't imagine how sad people who were close to him must be: his family, his partner Charlotte and all other Capita colleagues who were friends -Kate P., Yvonne, Mark(s). Adam was one of the kindest people I first met when I joined Capita. I was so overwhelmed with the battery of actions for new starters! I remember that we had to ring payroll to get our Desktop password changed. When I rang, I did not understand the operator. I saw Adam nearby, grabbed his arm and put him on the phone. Really shocking news, my condolences to Adam's family and friends. He was a top guy who always willing to help with my trivial I.T. queries without a fuss. I always enjoyed our chats about fishing, football and crypto currency and it was always interesting to see what he was growing or what was living on his desk.

I am in absolute shock, I have no words. Me and Adam had a love hate relationship, he loved teasing me! At the time I hated it but boy what I would do just for him say all them cheeky things to me again. Despite all the teasing he had so much respect for my OCD, he knew exactly how I was, he always went an extra mile making sure I was given brand new equipment's. When I needed help he never sat on my desk/Chair rather hovered over and guided me in what I had to do although it took way longer than it should he was so patient with me. It has been a very sad few days for me just thinking about how suddenly he has left I can not bare to think what those close to him are going through. Me and Yvonne were having a discussion about her wonderful daughter on the 7th of January(9 days before his passing) "[07/01/2022 08:10] Crawford, Yvonne (Capita Translation & Interpreting) I think Adam and our time living on the crescent has helped how she is, Adam just taught her to have an open mind and be herself and not follow the trend like most kids do" Holly is such a bright mature 18 year old and Yvonne gives a lot of credit to Adam and i know Holly will hold on to that, the guidance he has given her in the past several years. My thoughts and prayers are with Yvonne, Holly, Charlotte and his family, he will truly be missed xxx
