Andy Prokop

I am saddened to learn of Andy's passing. He was a warm caring person, who will be greatly missed. Too many who served especially in Vietnam are being struck down in later life by what they sustained in service. Rest in peace Andy.

My deepest condolences to the Prokop family. I met Andy in 1993 working at a sports memorabilia shop in Weberstown Mall. Andy visited regularly while checking on his Carl Jr restaurant in the mall. Andy always asked if we had lunch and brought us food and cookies. Andy also took care of our athletes that were in the store signing autographs and made sure they were well fed and cookies for the road. Andy's kindness and generousity never went unnoticed. We met again when he was President of United Way and I was working for a CPA Firm. He attended meetings in our conference room and always managed to stop by my office for a chat. Andy was a one-of-a-kind and more people should be like Andy. He was the best.

My thoughts and prayers to everyone in Andy’s family. He was a remarkable Man and a wonderful friend to myself and my Brother Robb. Thank you for everything Andy.

Every single thing that's been said about Andy is so spot on, and still not enough. My interactions with Andy were through Jagged Lines of Imagination, an art studio that he supported not just when we asked, but always. Many times he reached out to us, because he had a supply of paper we might use, or candy or other rewards for our young artists,. He took the time to show up at our art shows, and of course to work with JLI at Stockton Con. If a community event was happening, Andy was there. Being like Andy is a high standard for anyone to strive for. Just an extraordinary person. I'm grateful to have known Andy, he helped me to be better.

Andy was one of the nicest men I have ever known! He always remembered me, even after years of not seeing each other. I worked at Walton Special Center and we would take the kids to the mall to see santa and then go to lunch at Carl's Jr. Andy was always there with a smile and a cookie for every kid! Such a great man! He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Our condolences to Carol and the Prokop family. Your tireless work in our communities improved lives and made them a better place to live. It was an honor to work with you and your legacy of caring and thoughtfulness will live forever.

Andy exemplified kindness and acceptance like no other. We are all better people for having had him in our lives. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
