Atul was a much loved son ,brother and a dear friend. He had a zest for life, a love of people, nature and animals. He was widely travelled and had wonderful understanding of humanity. He was an inspirational work colleague, a humble man who made selfless choices to become a compassionate care giver . Atul has left us too soon but we will remember him in our hearts , thoughts and prayers .

Atul was one of the nicest, genuine, loyal, honest , selfless & intelligent guys you could ever meet, and I shall miss him deeply. Not only was Atul a great work colleague, Atul and I became longstanding friends over the last 14 years when I first met him at John Lewis in 2009. Atul helped me through some rough times, and he was always there for me. I last met Atul just a few months ago in June with the usual John Lewis IT Friday crowd get-together, and we did have another one planned for a Xmas get-together on 8th December. We will still have this, and raise our glasses to him once again as we did after his service. Condolences & heart felt sympathy to all his family and friends. RIP Atul, you are free like a bird, and now with your Mum, Dad & Gopy too.

I had the honor of knowing Atul for the last 15 years and had the privilege of calling him a friend. Though we met at John Lewis where he was well-loved and respected, our friendship grew outside of the confines of work as we both shared a love of music, food, beer, and laughter. Atul was the kindest of men, he always had time for others and was always genuinely interested in hearing about our lives, often with wise advice if any was needed. My heart broke when I heard of Atul's passing and I can only imagine how this must have affected Atul's family who has my most sincere condolences. Rest in peace Atul and thank you for being part of my life

Atul was an inspiration. He always had time for people. When I was new to the IT function he was patient and never put me down in front of others. He was also good fun when we used to meet up Friday lunchtimes, and the first to buy a round. Condolences to his family.

I am so utterly saddened to hear the news about Atul. It has been my pleasure to work with Atul for so many years from the first day he started working in JLP. I have known him not just a work colleague but also as a friend, had shred many corridor chats over years in 171. We will all miss you Atul.
