Jingle bell jingle bell, jingle all the way. This christmas is different, how do i say. Most loved uncle, best husband, father and brother being missed everyday, As we think of shafkat uncle (maama), everything seems as was yesterday. Varied interests, Good time, friendship, chatting, humour and politics, he made all at ease, young, old and people of different mix Gentle doctor, thorough professional say all at coney island even today, Best teacher, helpful and inspiring in every which way. He entered hospital this time as a patient, We prayed to almighty and for good news were very patient. Alas.. The place he healed many, we waited till he had chances any. The soul which was so pure, left behind many eyes filled with tear. Was sent by almighty and fulfiiled his purpose in life. Left behind sweet memories with us, children and wife. As my heart goes to the entire family, Friends, fraternity and we will now miss him daily. As a doctor, he saw deaths, but, sena aunty, he showed life goes on. Neemuch is proud and his memories will be cherished, as we move on. Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle all the way. O, What fun it was, when you were around us everyday. Rip... Shafkat mama, Heartfelt condolences from Nafisa hussain, tasneem, aafiya, shamshad, altamash, salim, seema,

So many beautiful memories come to mind when I think of Shafkat Uncle. He was so loving, caring, full of energy and was always there to help. We loved spending every minute with Uncle and especially on Thanksgiving which was his favorite. The long chit chatting with Uncle on different topics, him cracking jokes, us watching tv series together and all the other unforgettable moments will always be cherished and missed. We love you uncle and we miss you.

Shafkat mama was a dear, loving, friendly and my only uncle who lived here in the United States! You left us too soon. He was available to the family for all advice not just that of an amazing doctor! His interests across various subjects specially politics made long weekend conversations with him in which he would invariably add a tinge of humor with his jokes. When I last saw him in his hospital bed he was looking forward to so much but fate had other plans I guess. You are now more in our memories and I remember the excitement my mom had of he coming to India from the US every couple of years regularly to spend time with his extended family. He loved my moms Biryani as his favorite! I’m sure the brother and sister will be having it up there soon!

Dear Shafkat Uncle. It is difficult for me to process that you are no longer on this earth. It is a void that I will fill with fond memories. Thank you for always welcoming us to your house when we came to New Jersey - whether we were there for a few weeks or a few days. I am so thankful that Zale and I were able to spend some quality time with you and Sena Phuphi in the days before the pandemic. Some of the best parts of that trip were the everyday activities that we shared - from grocery shopping, card playing, tv watching (Zale even introduced you to his favorite Dude Perfect), debating politics, and helping you manage your junk mail pile in your office. We will miss you bigly.

Memories of Shafkatbhai. Caring, gentle, unassuming, happy to help friend and stranger, made old and young comfortable in his presence. Beamed with joy telling me that I will be the trustee of the "Sutarwala, India, charity fund". Always responded with contributions when I asked him for some charity in India. Always responded, soon, to requests from my family and friends for his valuable advice in medical matters. I am eternally grateful for his amazing care, since several years, of my dear sister Senabhen in living with her health challenges! Pray that God grants him a high place in Jannat, Aameen.

70plus years, first as friend then as family. I find difficult to comprehend that he is no longer. Will never see his smile. Never see him as the loving and dedicated caretaker for his wife of almost 60 years. Will miss his passionate debate on politics, religion, philosophy and his unique sense of humor. Will not see him in his favorite chair at home; or on his regular efforts to clean up and make sure things are where they should be. Will never again drive around with him just shopping, or walking the NY streets or Las Vegas casinos; and always have his car navigation system on even when driving to his home. A large hole in our lives that will take a long time to fill and accept. Bon Voyage.

Shafkat bhai was a very pure soul His kind and caring ways will be missed so much He was like a glue that held the whole family together we would call him often and get updates on everyone He would call each and everyone and keep in touch with elders and children alike To Zareen he was the chill uncle who could talk to her on her own level and understand her better than her own parents Of all relatives she was closest to him in fact she was planning on going over to stay with them for a week in summer she is equally devastated by his sudden passing We have lost a dear soul who we depended on for moral support and comfort when we needed it Rest In Peace. Dear Shafkat bhai you did good in this world and we believe that your good deeds will pave the way to paradise for you We love you and you will forever be the most precious person in our lives

Razia Ahmed-So many memories come flooding by when I think of shafqat uncle ever since we first met. His cheerful attitude always managed to light up the darkest room, the way he made each and every one feel special with his love and care, his down to earth manners, his zeal and enthusiasm in organizing family parties and get togethers, the way he found humour in every situation, the way he helped and advised innumerable patients in Neemuch, the way he took care of Sena aunty all these past years.Uncle was a true gentleman in all senses. When I spoke to Sena aunty yesterday she said that.... "Shafkat is no more" but I truly think he is all the more here in our memories, in our thoughts and in our subconscious that makes us follow his footsteps.Long live Uncle in our ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Salim Ahmed-The first memory about him is, he sponsored me to US 42 years ago and then I stayed at his place for couple of months. In my engaement Shafkat Kaka and I went to see Razia, he liked her and asked me to get engaged with her. I still remember he danced a lot in my marriage. We had a lot of fun in the US and when I moved to India, he got a house in neemuch so he could come and stay with us. He came 17 times to neemuch. Each time he came to neemuch we used to go on trips like goa, ranthampore, kerela etc etc. and they were such a fun company, we still cherish all the memories. I love him, adore him and he is always the 2nd father to me. He will always be in my memories. Love him always!! ❤️
