Most heartwarming of all was his adoration for his family, he would light up when chatting about his kids and grandkids, sharing photo's and telling stories about them regularly including his fluffy canine companion. It is with the deepest of sadness that I say goodbye to Wayne. A truely decent, honest and kind man with a heart of gold. My sympathies to the Carr family.

A highly respected and loved member of Hardy Spicer. Wayne was a wonderful guy to work with, and his knowledge, skill and infectious humour will be missed by all his work and industry colleagues.

Wayne was a friendly colleague who always had a great smile. I loved our lunch room chats on his interests outside work like gardening, carpentry and even cooking. Wayne will be missed but the great memories created will live on.
