What an inspiration Sir Eldred has been to those of us working to develop health services and training in Africa. What a debt of gratitude we owe him as a result of his vision and dedication to found and support THET through which our work as health partnerships became possible. I was so lucky to hear him speak at a fundraising event for East London's mental health work in Uganda- what energy, wisdom and compassion, still sparkling at close to ninety.
