My thoughts as a former Guernsey colleague but lasting friend of Sheldon -
The magnitude and the genuine outpouring of both grief but genuine thanks to have had the good fortune to have called Sheldon a friend will help the pain we are all feeling. I feel particularly for Lane and the girls ~ all day I’ve had flashbacks of the last few occasions we shared time together and invariably they are happy memories of a lad who cared for his family and his friends and did not have a bad bone in his body. We have lost a wonderful man but we have all been enriched to have had him play some part in our lives. We must always remember the impact he had on all of us - smile, raise a glass and be thankful for being able to call a friend x
