Mr. Rouse, I remember spending time with your family almost as far back as I can remember. Jen was always so kind to have me over the house. I remember watching you create beautiful leather belts and things. I remember how you let us ride the three wheeler in the back of the house. I remember how you would almost treat us like adults and include us on what you happened to be doing that evening, like learning how to make ammo. Such cool things that the average girl didn’t get to experience. I think of you like Red Foreman on the 70’s show, so quick to impart wisdom with truths but also the twinkle and gentleness in your eye. I also learned about real life- things kids shouldn’t know. My dad worked for Delta and you were with Eastern. Those sad times had a face and that was my best friends family. I always cherished spending time with the whole family. I was blessed to have that opportunity. God speed and God Bless
